Sp@m-Boycot!

SpamBoycot! about protecting yourself against the spam plague and other present day Internet nuisances.

It is estimated there are more than 200.000 malicious programs (viruses, worms, trojans, malware, phishing, scams, identity theft etc.) on the Internet, the majority is aimed at Windows PC's.

This is an independent website with no commercial ties. This site has emerged from our personal every day experiences with Spam and other Internet threats, annoyances or time-consuming irritations. On this site we are trying to make an inventory of all those irritating nuisances and problems millions of people have to confront and deal with, every day when they open their mail box.

Caveat Emptor!!! (Let the buyer beware)

SpamBoycot! about protecting yourself against the spam plague and other present day Internet nuisances.

First of all

Never buy something from a spammer or via unsolicited mail. Never answer a spammer. Never leave your email address on the Internet, your website, in forums, newsgroups, social networking or community sites. Spambots search the Internet for email addresses. Email adresses are sold between spammers. Do not open email attachments from unknown senders. Use a good anti virus program and download the updates regularly.

Tip: Use a different email address on the Net, like Yahoo Mail, Lycos Mail or use the free Gmail from Google (advanced spam filter, 2.5 GB storage and virus protection)
Koop nooit iets via ongevraagde email berichten

Spammers, scammers, phishers, identity thieves, con artists and plain criminals, are all part of the same category. They are out there to annoy, harm or hurt you and trying to make your life miserable! Spammers are also responsible for the spreading of viruses, trojans, worms and malware.
